ARTS & CRAFTS:

Download American Flag Fan Template

American Flag Fan Craft:

1. Gather Supplies!

American Flag Fan Printout (**or 3 printouts for circle fan), crayons/markers/color pencils, scissors, tape, glue, and popsicle sticks.

2. Color!

3. Cut Outer Thick Black Lines

Cut along the OUTSIDE thick black lines to provide a skinny American Flag.

4. Fold the American Flag

Fold the flag, short side, in a zig-zag pattern so it looks like an accordion when complete. Start with the uncolored side first.

5. Glue Popsicle Sticks

Glue the top half of the popsicle sticks on the inside of one end of the American Flag accordion, making sure the paper wraps around the popsicle stick. Then tape the fan template ends together around the popsicle stick for a small perfect Patriotic Fan!!

**5. Glue Popsicle Sticks

**My little one wanted a circle fan! You will need to color and cut 3 Flag Templates, fold them and glue them together at the ends matching the uncolored side of the fan.

Glue the top half of the popsicle sticks on the inside of the striped end of the 3 printout accordions - making sure the paper wraps around the popsicle sticks.

Tape the blue stars end of the American Flag accordion together. Bring the two popsicle sticks next to each other and tape together to make the perfect Patriotic Flag!!

6. Cool off with American Fan!

Fan yourself and your family and help them cool off!

Download USA Rocket Straws Template

USA Rocket Straws Craft:

2. Cut on Thick Black Lines

This creates 8 rocket straw tops to color!

3. Color!

4. Tape rocket paper tops

Fold one piece of rocket paper in half around top of straw long ways and tape. Take top of rocket paper and fold down and tape.

5. Enjoy the Rocket Straws!

Now that the rocket paper is taped, place over top of straw. Blow on the other end of the straw and watch it rocket across the room!

Download American Heart Flag Template

American Heart Flag Craft:

1. Gather supplies!

Heart Flag Printout, scissors, glue, red/blue construction paper or crayons/markers. Optional: popsicle sticks

2. Cut out Heart Flag and Stars

3. Color/Glue!

Tear/cut construction paper and glue red on stripes and blue on top left corner of heart flag. If you don't have construction paper--no worries! Color in with crayons or markers!

4. Glue on Stars

Glue the white stars on the blue top left corner of the heart flag.

5. Optional - Popsicle Stick

My girls wanted a heart flag they could wave, so we glued popsicle sticks to the back of the heart flag for a handle.
