About the Author
Cameron Marasco
I have always been proud of my country and grateful for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. Over the past few years, this pride has grown even more as I realize there is a concerted effort to remove the education of our great country's history from schools and rewrite a new history for political agendas.
As a mother to four wonderful kids, I wanted to make sure they learned not only how our country was founded, but also the Judeo-Christian values America was built upon. Scouring the internet for primary children's books about American history, I had little to no success. Finally, one night, I was woken up to write this adorable, rhyming story about friends learning about their freedom and God-given rights. These books were absolutely sent from above and I am humbled to be the author and messenger.
After editing and working with an incredible illustrator, we now have an amazing children's book, Freedom Friends, that empowers all kids to achieve the American Dream!
Cameron currently resides in Hoover, AL with her husband, Mart, and four children.
About the Illustrator
Sasha Beytler (Oleksandra Syzonenko)
Sasha is an illustrator living and working in Seattle. She grew up in Ukraine before moving to the US to pursue her love of art to share it with the world. She graduated from the Art school of Tokmak in Ukraine and studied information technology and computer graphics at the National Technical University - Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.
She aims to illustrate stories through which she can share a more diverse perspective with the world. Sasha is passionate about this line of work and believes that she was destined for it.
